Your responsibilities

As the Enterprise Architect at PTV Logistics, you will be an experienced software architect responsible for supporting and aligning various architects within the organization. Your role will involve providing a broader perspective and ensuring consistent and cohesive solutions across different applications from different sites. While the individual architects focus on ensuring the cohesiveness of their specific solutions, you will be responsible for driving consistency and quality across all delivered solutions. 

Your responsibilities: 
  • Collaborate with architects and development teams to create a technical roadmap aligned with business strategies and objectives.
  • Foster innovation and facilitate the selection of future products and technologies in collaboration with architects and development teams.
  • Define and promote guiding principles that shape application, data, platform, and security across the software landscape.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills by guiding the team of architects towards a coherent and unified software landscape.
  • Establish a visionary outlook for the organization's future, aligning it with the architectural direction.
  • Possess a fundamental understanding of Domain Driven Design, XP software practices, and architectural methodologies.

Relationships & qualifications

As an Enterprise Architect, you will maintain frequent communication with architects from various locations. This will involve gathering information, providing alignment, and offering support. You will also collaborate with the Chief Product Officer (CPO) and product owners to ensure the ongoing viability of our products.

Your qualifications: 
  • You bring your knowledge from an IT-oriented course of study (e.g., computer science or business informatics).  
  • You have already gained several years of experience in software development/ architecture and have an eye for the big picture.
  • You are a dynamic individual with a passion for architecture.
  • You possess excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • You are driven to shape a unified and innovative software landscape.
  • You have a good command of written and spoken English and German.
