Your responsibilities

Your position as supply chain logistics Principal Consultant (m/f/d) reporting to the Chief Operations Officer requires you to fulfill the following duties, job tasks and responsibilities in line with the different functional areas in the business:

Sales & Pre-Sales Support 
  • Act as a subject matter expert in supply chain logistics and value selling methodologies, focusing on planning and optimization, visibility and execution software.
  • Lead the value-selling process by engaging with C-level from potential clients and understanding their specific supply chain logistics challenges.
  • Conduct detailed assessments of client's supply chain processes, identify pain points, and develop customized solutions that align with their strategic goals and address identified gaps.
  • Utilize PTV Logistics tools to model, simulate, and test various scenarios to identify the most effective solutions.
  • Develop and deliver compelling value propositions, tailored to each client, highlighting the benefits of implementing recommended solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at client organizations, acting as a trusted advisor and consultant.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, competition and best practices, and share insights with internal teams and clients.
Implementation
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and technology experts, to ensure successful solution implementation.
  • Analyze relevant IT systems and environment at client’s end.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to clients throughout the implementation process, ensuring a seamless transition to optimized supply chain logistics practices.

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Several years of experience as a Principal Consultant or similar role with one of the big four consulting firms, driving engagements and value selling in the supply chain logistics domain.
  • Existing network within the industry.
  • Expertise in utilizing optimization tools to drive process improvements and cost reductions.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain logistics processes, including procurement, inventory management, transportation, and distribution.
  • Solid supply chain IT related skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and articulate the value proposition of proposed solutions to clients.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful insights.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at various organizational levels.
  • Fluency both in French and English is a must, a third European language is a plus.
